Oh you started the major lenn quest.

Not helping with this quest but check under the beds on the ship. The reason im not going to help further is because the quest is story based and fun to figure out.

go to the sous chef, look at him in the eye back up open the dooor and to your left(still looking at the chef!) is his quarters/ look under the bed on the bottom right(not the row ner ensign ben) and under the bed is a note u can read only once

Yeah I had this problem try re-logging, it worked for me.
