how to edit regular maps and add npc's

how do i edit maps like washington and PEI and add things?

from what I've heard you have to unlock them first but i won't be able to tell you how cause i don't touch that honestly the only Editor I've ever touched in my life time was the Starcraft 1 Campaign Editor as well as some of Starcraft 2's Editor but not as much as Starcraft 1's

You need to unlock them with a thing. And adding items is done with the Objects tool in the very far left box in the Editor. Press E to set that stuff down.

To unlock them:

1. Go to your game files (Program x86>Steam>steamapps>common>Unturned)

2. Go to "Maps"

3. Open the file of the map you want to modify

4. Right Click, select "New" the "Text file (.txt)"

5. Open the Text File

6. Save as ".unlocker"

7. File type All *.*

8. You can now open your game and modify the map

For placing stuff

1. Click "Level"

2. Click "Objects"

3. Select any structure you want (Office #1, Trash #2, etc.)

4. Press "E" to place at the object

5. Use the arrows to move it

6. Press "W" (I think) to rotate using the circles.
