GAME STUCK IN PORTRAIT MODE TEMP FIX!!!

YO DAWGS I FINALLY FOUND A TEMP FIX TO THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ISSUE!

Ok so you can't actually play in fullscreen but when you launch your game set your windows res to a lower res then back to your origonal res with the game in WINDOWED MODE. then make sure its still in windowed and hit alt+enter to go into fullscreen windowed and you can play like that. Just make sure to not hit fullscreen or you will have to fix it again. Hopfully this helps people I know i've been looking for a solution for like a whole year and nelson still hasn't fixed this!

You should know that this game is highly un-optimized, theres an upcoming Unturned 4 though, which'll be more optimized since it uses UE4 (Unreal Engine 4) so possible FPS optimization and gameplay experiences will be highly improved.

You can force the resolution by right clicking the game in your Steam library > Properties and setting the launch options to include "-width 2560 -height 1440"

you might just have to play with the resolution settings ingame because the problem might be that the game doesnt know how to scale the resolution onto your screen. put the game into windowed mode, do you still see the black bars?
