California and Rio gas mask/ filters

Where can I find gas masks and filters on California ? I've yet to have find even a filter. Zombies at mili checkpoints are wearing gas masks, but do they really spawn there ?

Also the same goes for Rio, because I could never find any filters or gas masks on that map.

Nobody asked before and the wiki doesn't say anything.

There are areas where it spawns, but it's 80% random, even if it should spawn there.
it may not be the answer for your question, but i just want to mention it.

For Rio check the fire stations and ZPD convoys/locations in various cities. For California hazmat locations will have gasmasks.
