more ammo
its handsomer than schodfield :)))
and i think schodfiled cant support a flashlingt or laser
schofield damage is higher than hawkhound and it can support tactical attachments
It can have tacticals
Mostly for these reasons. I think that, since both guns are really early game, the difference dmg per shot wont be that big, both will be reasonable but not exactly the best. So that is why i choose the hawkhound, it has a higher damage capacity per mag. Keep in mind i have no numbers to support it, if i am wrong please let me know. And the fact that the schofield clips look just like the craftable makeshift rifle mags, is also kind of a letdown. In my early days, i once found a schofield , and i took the clip out, reloaded it, and put it back in. Then, i was rummaging trough the crafting menu, with all my scrap on me, and suddenly: rifle clips. I thought "well, it IS a rifle, can't deny that, and ut looks the exact same" you are probably screaming internally already "PLEASE TELL ME HE DIDNT" yes i did. I made all my scrap into rifle clips, wich of course didn't fit in my schofield. Ever since that day, ive had some trust issues with it... so yeah, hawkhound all the way
Hawkhound has a bigger ammo capacity, has less recoil and better durability than Schofield. The only thing the Schofield does better is tiny more object damage and slightly better hip accuracy, but this is pretty worthless overall.
So to sum this up, the Hawkhound is a direct upgrade to the Schofield
Contrary to popular belief they have the same Damage Per Shot
- Schofield deals 5 extra damage to structures and to barricades
(5 damage is basically non-existant on a bolt action rifle.)
(Schofield can't damage structures anyway due to being niether high-caliber nor an LMG.)
- Hawkhound is more accurate whilst aiming down sights.
- Hawkhound has a 30% chance to degrade whilst Schofield has a 50% chance to degrade.
(Hawkhound lasts much longer on average.)
That's it... There is no other difference I can find.
This should settle the argument in Hawkhounds favour no problem.
Very accurate, with impressive range.
Good durability.
High damage, capable of killing a zombie in one headshot, or a player in two.
Can serve as a sniper rifle if equipped with a scope.
Greater ammo capacity and lower recoil than the similar Schofield.
Hawkhound can be worse because:
Takes up 10 slots in the inventory.
Slow reload time.
Low ammo capacity.
Deals less damage than a sniper rifle.
Whereas Schofield can be better because:
Great range (200m), damage, and accuracy when using the sight.
Can serve as a sniper rifle if equipped with a scope.
Easy to find at campgrounds and farms.
Its colouration makes it good for stealth shooting
Scofield can be worse because:
Slow rate of fire, owing to its bolt action mechanism and low ammo capacity.
Shorter range than a sniper rifle.
It is very loud, and attaching a muffler reduces damage.
Default iron sights are very obtrusive.
The gun takes up a lot of space in your inventory.
Personally i think its a pretty split arguement
