Unturned is malware?

Recently my anti-malware has been detecting unturned data files as malware. I currently have 30 notifications from my anti-malware and going up, this is just getting really annoying.

its a steam game ( one of the most played even) , its been around for like 4-5 years and i never seen anybody saying this is malware

You should add Unturned as an exception in your antivirus settings, so you don't see all those notifications. Also, obviously the game isn't a virus.

Unturned isn't malware. I have no idea as to why your anti-virus software is saying that it is.

You should make Unturned an exception if it's happening all the time, or get a different one (If it's one of those dodgy anti-viruses)

It is most likely malware embedded in the files from other sources, or it replicated the file to disguise itself. I highly recommend using MalwareBytes to clear the malware out, and if that doesn't work I'd also recommend a factory reset. Add me if you got any more questions ;)

I perform big laff at MalwareBytes. If you want free AV stick with defender, otherwise step up your game and pay.

I use AVG Free Antivirus since 2015. It's great.

If you have malwarebytes installed they have been saying random games have been malware (ex. the forest wildlands any game pretty much)
