What is the "best" map for solo play?

Well, there isn't really the "best" Map. It really depends on what you like. Personally I like Hawaii and Russia because it has tons of space for building and lots of places to explore, including tons of Coalition quests. I recommend Hawaii if you want bright colors and a vibrant map.
Back to your question, I think that Russia is a good map, because it has mines for scrap metal and lots of trees and open space for bases. You can explore tons of places like the dead zones and the metro in St. Petersburg.

Thanks, I have never heard of NPC quests before in Unturned. I'll try both maps.

You should also try the workshop map "Tranquility." It is a harsh survival map with very few loot spawns, etc. It is pretty fun if you are into that kind of thing.

No Probs. Try looking for charts in the camps in Russia. I don't know about Hawaii though. (If you can, try cheating them in. Don't be ashamed. We cheat sometimes in a videogame.
