How to build sky bases????

How do you build a sky limit sky base?
I know the whole 2 stairs and 4 pillars technique, but I want my base to be at sky limit, and I will lose oxygen before I get to sky limit to place my generator and oxygenerator.....
Using a scuba tank would be the best thing, but how long do they actually supply oxygen for?

If you want to exploit the floating platform glitch, you will have to start from the ground and work from there on up.

Other than Admin access to get the build mode feature, you will have to place all those floors to get to the top of the skybox.

Yeah, but my question is if I will run out of oxygen before I get the the top of the skybox.

Of course you will!

Think for a moment. If the low oxygen effect was at or above the skybox, you'd never get to it.

It takes a while to build anything, so as soon as you cross the height limit, you will start losing oxygen.

Think for a moment. If the low oxygen effect was at or above the skybox, you'd never get to it.

It takes a while to build anything, so as soon as you cross the height limit, you will start losing oxygen.

At that point, either go Navy SEAL or place some OxyGens. There's no easy way to do it.

I believe 4 minutes. You could also use OxyGens.

Skuba tank and snorkel + max diving skill will give u maybe 5 minutes before air finish?
Im not sure but should be something like that.
Just build up, (i guess you will remove structures then keep building up again) when low oxigen place oxigenator, as you got full air take off gass and oxigenator and generator, then keep going up.
I would do it with at least 4 ramps + all the pillars u need.

I found another problem....
Stairs arent the same anymore, they dont have the sqare at the top anymore, so you can't make skybases like you used to be able to...

uuuh well, if it's true, that means u got to do it the old way. need loooots of wood, plus u will have to remove all the tower when u finished (or will give away your skybase position)
