the glasses and the night vision

i use the cosmetics to hide what i am wearing but the cosmetics glasses or the cosmetics mask will jest disappears if i wear the night vision,
i know that wearing the night vision should have a glowing light as a disadvantage but what about when they are off.

what about making that the cosmetics glasses go away when you tern the night vision on
and come back when you tern it off,
and that way you will still get the disadvantage when you use them and keep your cosmetics on your face with out disappearing
(the head light have the same issue)

The point of the NVG's glow is to give it a disadvantage. Doesn't matter if it's off it still glows....so to have you cosmetic override you can't have NVG's in general. I personally use the snorkel and it allows my bandito mask to show.

It's weird to make things pop on and off. If you want to show your glasses, you take off your night vision googles. I think things should not be more complicated
This thing goes with a lot of stuff, even without skins. For example if you have bushy hair on your character, if you wear a beret, your hair will disappear. Intentional or not, but i think it looks even cooler while i still keep the hair if i'm freshspawn.
I think you are addressing a nonissue. and think if they add night-vision google skins later, they'll have to revert the change you suggest.
