Fan gets exteremly loud when I play.
Just got this game and it runs at 800 fps however it makes my fan sound like a f-14 TOMCAT. Im assuming my graphics card couldnt handle such high fps so i ramped the settings up to ultra and got 500 fps, and my fan only got a little bit quiter. Is unturned just that unoptimized? Like what do I do?

Turn on V-sync, and lower water textures, then check your CPU usage.

Im new to pc but how do i check that? CPU usage? And it was getting loud on main screen. I have a radeon rx 580 and a ryzen 5 series 2600 x i think or something like that. Also I run fortnite at 190fps plus and my pc is really quiet so. It shouldnt be that loud.

Yeah Unturned isn't too optimised but that's changing in 4.0.

To check the CPU do ctrl + shift + esc and that'll open task manager, from there click more details and CPU will be displayed near the top.

Your fans do as they should and try to keep the temperature down mate

(Why you should use V-Sync, don't bother over working it when your moniter is hardly going to display more than 60fps.)

Limit frame rate, adjust fan curves
VSync sucks imho, I’d rather have a manual set rate.
