Some of the best IR scopes can detect a human target from 2500m, but only recognizably at about 1100m. That's real life stats, so it'd probably have to be tuned down for fairness in-game.
And how are you supposed to know when someone is watching you through thermal vision? First 2 precise shots and you are dead without having time to react. The only viable option would be when in combat and the enemy is using thermal, but even then the enemy can just press N to turn it off and then easily see where the player is because the flare gives off light.
It's basically free ESP
Are Zombies going to have the same Heat Signature as Players,or maybe a lesser one?
But don't make them Blend in with the Enviroment, that'd be horrible, because then it would just be another PvP oriented Item, and we REALLY don't need that.
