Zombie "Bosses" have Too Much Health

I've pounded over 40 shots into a lightning strike zombie's head, all headshots, full durability Hawkhound, having him still being alive and well. When I come back with more ammo, he freaking despawned. Please atleast make it so the zombie bosses don't despawn or make their health similiar to the mega zombie and not over double the amount.
