How do i make a Private Server for just me and my friend to play on?

Depending on your PC specs you don't want to do that and play the game at the same time....

But on the other hand, I'd recommend Nitrado or BlueFangSolutions for server hosting for Unturned.

Private servers (as in two to four people, few mods) drain very little in terms of memory and computing power.

use hamachi and unturned server organiser, it worked for me you can obtain hamachi form www.vpn.net and unturned server organizer form here www.unturned-server-organiser.com i hope this help you so much like it helped to me.

1. Go to your Unturned directory
2. Make a shortcut of "Unturned.exe" and rename it to "Server" or something.
3. Right click on the shortcut and properties
4. and then add at Target "-nographics -batchmode +secureserver/ServerName"
5. Start the .exe file. When you start the .exe file a folder named "Servers" will appear in your unturned directory
6. type "shutdown" in the console that opens when you start the .exe file
7. Then go to Servers>Servername>Server and open the "Commands.dat" file with Notepadd++ or the normal windows notepad
8. Then type

Name YourServerName
Password YourPassword
Map TheMapYouWant
Port 27015
Maxplayers 20
Mode Easy|Normal|Hard|Gold
Perspective First|Third|Both|Vehicle
Welcome YourMessageThatAppersWhenSomeoneJoinsTheServer
Pvp|Pve
Cheats Enable|Disable

9. Start the server and wait. Then you repeat step 6
10. If you want to play with hamachi here is a video

11. If you want to play without hamachi then you need to forward the port "27015"

the youtuber melikebigboom has some good turtorials about makeing servers. once you make the server use the password command to set a password for the server and then tell your friend what the password is.

the useage for the password command is as follows using "bucket" as the password that I want to set.

password bucket

thats it.

Settings passwords and the like should be done in ghe commands.dat imho
