Or, I could set one up for you! :D
"I'll pass on the game" good on you, good to see atleast someone isn't blinded by this game for whatever reason and think its perfect.
Although, if I ever were to rent servers, I'd probs make them cheaper than any other provider. Maybe around 13-14$ a month..
My issue is that you need to create a server on your machine. Most games have that built in. You just press 'Host' set up your game then invite friends or leave it open for randoms. With this you not only need to run a server exe, but have to make sure the right ports are listening. Too much of a hassle for something they already had.
My point is that the 'host a game' option was in the game but has been removed.
The only difference between now and then is the fact that you have to start server manually instead of pressing button in the menu.
Also you can use hamachi/evolve to bypass portforward (back in time of "host" button you had to use hamachi because evolve didn't exist ;D)

Name a cheap hoster then. I based my number off of LYHME hosting.
There certainly is, otherwise there would literally be no servers
