Unturned storage & latest update

So, has the latest update fixed the mac/linux crashing issues? I am reinstalling the game because it was crashing for me, so I thought of fresh install.

When I was going to reinstall the game, Unturned said it was going to download 4.7 gb or rather, needed 4.7gb, but when the downloading started. it's only 1.8gb?
But when I uninstalled the game, I got back 4.7gb back of space. Confused as hell

Unturned is still crashing on my Mac Yosemite. What a sad, disappointing update... and here I was thinking it would fix the crashes.
( Please stfu if you are going to be mentioning the anything negative about mac like it's price and it's specs. Contribute to the thread by saying something out of your brains that's actually contributive than counter-productive, TY )

I don't know much about Mac so can't help there but the size could be because of workshop content if you got any

Only a backpack mod. That's it. it says 3.603mb? Idk if that means 3.6gb or 3.6mb.... 3.6gb seems too much though for a backpack mod that's not super huge in content.

Well I can assure you it's not the backpack mod. I'm pretty sure unturned is about 4 gbs though.

But sigh, game is still crashing. They didn't fix the game, idk why they have to release the update weekly, they should fix the crashes immediately, update or no update day. Waiting for update day is just laziness on their part.

Well for what I know from his blog videos about 4.x Nelson works on Windows so it's not exactly easy to fix something you don't work with.

Thing is, why have a game that supports all 3 platforms but don't even beta test it on ALL 3 PLATFORMS? It's just dumb. Unless they just happened to use a Sierra mac, which isn't affected by the crashes.
They REALLY REALLY need to beta test the updates before they even release them, maybe make a beta test game or something for Unturned, basically another Unturned but all updates are tested there before making it onto the main game. So the main game isn't affected while you are seeing how the updates are going. WHY NOT JUST THAT?!

kek, the dude isn't even giving out a response on why the crashes are happening. SMH

I can say, I'm using 10.12.6 Sierra and haven't had any issues.

Many using Sierra have reported that they have no crash issues. Unlike people who are using Yosemites ( Me )

Yeah, after I posted that I found in another thread that it's apparently an issue with the skins kill counter update that broke it for Yosemite.

I have the same problem on Windows 7, when I started to download the game I needed 4.7GB free room which I had. When I started to download I saw it started to download only 1.8GB. So I downloaded that, searched the files but there were no files of Unturned, only the game.

Oh yeah, the game itself is 1.8gb kek while the rest of the files are 4gb. Hahahaha
Anyway, I updated my mac to High Sierra. So no more problems for me. RIP people not on high sierra.
