Best bow sight?
I wonder which sights work best on crossbow and compound bows. Also, can gun iron sights work on the bows?

Initially the makeshifts work well enough (on crossbows, I'm not using compound bows personally) but probably you'll soon get the 7x scope which is less bulky and thus more practical. The 8x scope is slightly bigger on screen but also has a little more magnification, you should see for yourself which would work best for you. You could mount any iron sights from any gun if desired, but I fail to see how that would be preferred over a proper scope.

Since I found the NVG scope it's been standard on my crossbow, but that's my personal preference. I guess I like silent hunting by night :moon:

Why not try different scopes yourself and see which you like better..

I usually go with a x7 for bows

Cause I only have a makeshift sight. Didn't find any other sight to use yet.

You should try to scavenge Ranger sites, if possible. Radio towers for example are generally easy to find and tempt to spawn 7x scopes quite often.

Should I check the bank too? Not sure if it's a ranger site, but I did find ranger ammunition.

The ammo boxes are indeed indicative so keep checking those spots and you're bound to find that scope soon. Good luck!
