green infected bar goes down by itself

I ate a few things and it went down, i get that. but i left the town and im just running about and its still going down, its at 20% now.

why does it go down and how to stop it?

its going down from 50 % so u should find some cough syrups or vaccines

theres a skill you can upgrade to lose 50% less immunity at max level

There are certain areas called "Deadzones".

These places give you constant sickness, until you exit their active radius.

If you're in a regular area, your Immunity will never go down. Unless attacked.

When you reach below 50% immunity, it will go down and won't stop until you find yourself some pills or vaccines

ill proabbly invest in that skill, so far i have gotten survival so i need less food, and excercise

If u need ur immunity bar to go up alot use anti biotics they are the best for such situations

pink berries are a great thing to help dealing with infection, especially if you max out the farmer skill so that when you harvest a plant it will give you 2 units of it.
Collect all the ropes u can so that you can turn them into fertilizers, and instantly grow plants.
