Pine storage objects are also the best out of all other types of wood. I think the BIGGEST storage is the Pine Wardrobe.

pillars, floors and sometimes every structure in your base depending on where it is, if you're near a quarry its better to go for metal, but if you build your house at the mil base then wood spam is better

because metal pillars cost more to craft than wooden ones, and there is no purpose in shooting down a pillar when you are raiding becaues you cant go through the gap after you destroy a pillar you can place a bedroll and then spawn inside the base though, but rarely you can do this because most bases have claimflags
