Access denied to Battleye - "Content file locked"

Tried to connect to server, couldn't.
Uninstalled
Reinstalled
Kept staying in my downloads page, whenever I told it to finish downloading/updating, would just go back to queue. https://prntscr.com/ftj30s
Tried to launch game, told me "C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Unturned\BattlEye\BEClient_x64.dll" needs to be installed, but couldn't because it's "locked" https://prntscr.com/ftj3xm
Went there in file explorer, got this when trying to open BattlEye folder. https://prntscr.com/ftj2u3
Tried to run steam as admin, still "locked".
I am not participating in any betas of either Unturned or Steam itself.
Windows 10 x64.
Tried verifying integrity of game files.
Tried running "chkdsc" in Windows command prompt.

Issue remains.

Try to reinstall BattlEye, Nelson put out a guide on it.

I can't run Install_BattlEye.bat because it's install the BattlEye folder, which is the one that is locked

Just ran chkdsc in command prompt. Didn't fix issue.

I have a simalar problem, But I think its my computer presiving battleye as a viris (for some reason) ((also sorry for the spelling, I suck at it))

Tried to force my antivirus (webroot) to allow the file, but I can only do that to executables, and this is a folder that it being locked.

I had this problem. It was annoying. I fixed it by deleting all my Unturned files manually, then uninstalling it via Steam then installing BattlEye on its website then reinstalling it.

Don't blame Unturned. Blame BattlEye. It's not that good of an anti cheat.

It's not the game, it's BattlEye.

BattlEye is one of the best on the market my dude. It is really good for an anti-cheat, however it isn't user friendly.
