Are you sure you forwarded the ports correctly then? Does the game show up on the server list?
and no the game does not show up on the server list.
you should be able to forward that port range with one rule (though this shouldn't be causing the issue) is the IP put in there the correct internal address for the machine running the server?
(I also assume you have the server set to use the correct ports, those looked default to me though so probably)
Yes, I have put the correct internal ip in after the 192.168.1 ( I just did not screenshot it)
I can't remember what the range is.. but you might need ports opened below the server port. I can't remember what the requirement actually is, but I've been opening two above and two below.
BOF
We've been running fine with those three ports open until suddenly this past Sunday our server stopped getting external traffic. We can have 3 PCs logged in from our internal network and I see port traffic showing up in our router logs (almost all of it to 27016), but our server stopped showing up on the "internet servers" list.
If it worked before it should still be fine. I've been getting less traffic on my server due to lots of econ ticket errors, but I'm still getting the occasional random player.
wolfmountaingames.ddns.net:27015
doesnt work
@wolfmountaingames: I tried putting your server name {LINK REMOVED}"wolfmountaingames.ddns.net" in the IP field and 27015 in the port field and was not able to connect.
Hm thanks for trying.
I checked with no-ip (That is what I am using to get wolfmountaingames.ddns.net instead of a traditional ip) and it says that the port 27015 is not open which is strange because I set it to be open on my router and through windows firewall...
