Theory: burning city was nuked

It isn't a surprise now that it would be possible for this city to have been nuked. Moscow almost was nuked, so why not say... Frankfurt? The radiation and constant burning makes it very likely that a nuclear missile was launched by the US, France, or the U.K. (Germany doesn't have nukes of its own) to try and help stop the plague from spreading.

EDIT: please stop telling me it was a spaceship. We all know this already. I made this about a week before Germany came out, so please stop with all the comments about how dumb I am for not reading the notes when it should be clear that this was made before Germany was released.

Only the stuff within about 5 miles of the blast. Outside of that, even if you were outside during the explosion, you would get painless 3rd degree burns (burned to the nerve, can't feel pain) and still possibly survive. It's likely the extreme heat caused what was left of the city to catch on fire.

Hiroshima was not leveled after it was nuked. Although most of its buildings were collasped. Let me explain.

The buildings that were under the ground-zero impact are still standing. Some even used today. But anything else gets leveled due to a giant fireball and a massive soundwave. Thats what happened. So a nuke here in unturned is possible.

In the in game lore the military did some sort of kamikaze with a rocket filled with radio-active materials

Have you not been to cologne and read the note? It said a rocket crashed there that had radioactive material on it, so it acted like a big dirty bomb, which while not being as big as a nuke, acts a lot like it.
