What is the point of planters and plots?

I heared that plants grow faster if planted there, but I never tested it personally so idk.

For the rest, they are good in Yukon map cus its all snow and also if you want to farm inside your base without taking off a floor.

You can grow plants inside building with those. But if you'd rather plant them outside and risk getting shot while harvesting them while doing so. Im ain't gonna stop you.

This helps you cause when you put it inside you are safe but planting it outside it puts alot of fear and danger.

They're basically just artificial soil where the place you like to farm in does not have any suitable land to farm. No growth benefits though, so you're better off using the actual ground unless the problem I've stated occurs

If you want, you can use the planters on the side of a vehicle and make it a portable farm

Lol, I only play with my friends on a private server or by myself so I don't see myself getting shot

If you're not close to the ground or just have a base in the water for example, then they can be useful
