USA Map Series

So, after finishing my Midwest USA Map which takes place in 4 states in the US. I have decided to make a map series where each map takes place in different states within the US (California, Virginia, Texas, etc.). However I cannot decide whether or not I should make a Large-sized or a Medium-sized map for each state. There are pros and cons for each size:

Large
+ Bigger than a medium map
+ More locations
- Takes way longer time to make than a medium map
- Less Detailed
- Huge gaps between locations

Medium
+ Takes less time to make than a large map
+ More detailed
+ More compact and densed locations
- Smaller than a large map
- Less Locations

i would love to see a new york map, perhaps add a bit of canada too it (niagra falls maybe) conneticut ould be a cool map as well because in real life it has many navy bases

I'm thinking about the west coast or east coast states first though, but yeah would be pretty nice.
