Boss Zombies

They're not mega zombies. Mega zombies are the ones that spawn at the military base. the boss zombies are boss zombies. They only show up during the quests. They are called the Flamethrower Boss, Lightning Boss, and the Groundpounder Boss.

You can just go into customization and turn up the chance to find one of the quest zombies, though rewarding nothing if killed.

Actually they spawn all the time like megas however default said they can't also megas spawn in towns as well as also having the ability to be bosses , I messed around with this by putting mega and boss spawn chances all the way to "0.95" so they spawned everywhere so I could observe them, btw lightning being most deadly for its ability to kill you past its reach and fire being right underneath ( in my opinion) due to the spread in fire when killed also just a note they all explode their respective elements and act like normal zombies or mega ones ( depending on it being mega or not)

The easiest way to take them down is to drive in with an atv and lure it to the edge of town. Once their the zombie should stop and move back after about 2 minutes. While it is stuck take it down.
