Possible mods
What mods would y'all like to see? I'm sure someone's gotta have some nice ideas. I'd like a mod where you can deploy one or two agents at a time like the solo missions.

I'd kill for a minimap.

Well the person who did most of the modding for the Saints Row games (Idol Ninja) went to go work for Volition, not to mention that hopefully enough people buy the game on PC that want to mod, so I wonder how much mod output we'll even see.

Honestly there isn't even anything drastic I can think of that I want to see mod wise. Note when I say drastic I mean something that would require a lot of work to do mod wise. I mean my favorite mod for SR4 was the mod that just amplified all the powers (run speed, jump height, etc)

Right now the only thing I can think of that I'd want would be the ability to reset the triple jumps between swapping agents to allow for greater traverse. So for example, you'd triple jump, swap agent, triple jump, swap agent, repeat. This would really help with a lot of those instances were your agents get stuck right at the ledge of a jump and are just floating there unable to move. It also make a fun mini game or sorts to see just how many times you could do it, how far up in the map you could get, etc.

If we don't get an overall 'spit and polish' patch from Volition, I hope that somebody takes the time and effort to just do a general unoffical patch. Bugfixes, correcting typos and tweaking some balance things.

I can't remember the last time I played an open-world game with no minimap. Maybe never.

I'd also like to be able to jump straight to the agent I want with the unused 1-2-3, instead of only the scroll wheel. I know with only three of them, you can always jump to either of the other two with up and down, but I don't like how that makes it always relitive to your current agent, especially when I've switched one out and don't instinctively remember which is next.

ALSO, it bugs me that there's no visual indicator of when your dash is ready to be used. The indicator for your special move being a tiny icon in the corner is kinda dumb too; seems obvious to have a meter near the targeting reticle to me.

Any optimization would be appreciated too. I know the GTX970 is getting old, but this is the first game I've ever had to lower to 'medium' just to get it playable.

I to would like a mini map the icons on screen can be a bit confusing but i think they would need to get rid of Denuvo i believe it can be a pain to mod around i am no modder just going of what i seen on other post for games that have it.

This 100%
I always accidently switch to the wrong agent and would like a hotkey for each one. What is ESPECIALLY infuriating is when their ability is on cooldown, their icon is gone so you have no idea what agent you are switching too!!!

I agree with this, but then I found there's a special upgrade you can get that makes dash recharge instantly ;)

At least the Elder Scrolls games had that compass at the top. Just Cause 3... I don't remember how that one worked, but for whatever reason it didn't bother me. Maybe because everything was so spread out? I hated BotW, but you're right on that one. Minecraft doesn't even have a map; I think getting lost is part of the point. Didn't play the other two.

MY point is, with the similarites to Saints Row, by the same company, which DID have a minimap, this is very strange.

Also, in games like JC3 you could push one button to bring up the map, then one button to close it. In this, I have to press two different buttons for the map, then esc THREE TIMES to get rid of it. All games with maps on PC should press 'm' once for map, 'm' once for no map imo.

I don't even notice the lack of minimap. But yes, opening and closing the map is a hassle. Pressing m opens missions instead >:(
Oh and Minecraft does have a map, you just have to craft it ;)

♥♥♥♥ the mini-maps! Give me augmented reality. The GPS arrows are completely over the top, but definitely more fun than a stupid minimap.

Give me icons for objectives, and maybe GPS directions, when I scan, for example. Now that would be useful and less obnoxious.
