Contract Thriller Is Broken: Fix It Or Remove It

Topic.

I'm sick-and-censored-tired of logging in daily to try and unlock this last achievement. As a player who is not only a completionist but also has severe OCD, seeing this game taunting me from my library with it's 48/49 status is borderline torturous. I've completed a damn sight more than 15 online contracts, all of them being publically joinable [so don't throw the "you can't complete them individually" excuse at me for the achievement not unlocking*] and my achievement is nowhere in sight.

Fix. Your. Censored. Game.

If it bugs you that much hide the game. It's highly unlikely that anything else is going to be added or fixed in the game

You seem to misunderstand how OCD works ~ hiding the game won't matter because I know it's unfinished.

I don't honestly know if it is broken. The problem is that you need to be in the game when you finish the contract, and actually help do the contract..if you sit there doing nothing like most people on public seem to do, yes, it won't register. I noticed that alot of people do this, and good news for them, there going to be sitting there doing it forever with their bots or whatever. Alot of people on here do nothing on connected contracts and just sit there..i try to help a little when i do them, but then i have to go do something in real life and usually miss when they end. So far i have done 5 that i know i got the messege to pop up on the screen. If you don't get the messege that pops up after finishing it on the screen in the game, it does not count. Keep trying to get more. You might have less than you think.

NOTE: I tried once not to do anything and sit there, and i did not get the "contract finished" messege. This is what makes me think you ACTUALLY have to do stuff for the contract instead of sitting on it away from the computer.

i confirm is broken and RPG what you say there make no sense as everyone went and did contract and finished them ...characters dont do a move besides relaxing if you dont control them

I have literally spent entire nights finishing them by myself while the 5 other people connected did nothing ~ I've worked damn hard to unlock this achievement, and I've reaped no rewards for it.

It IS broken.

Well, im going to try it. I have alot of patience. When i do, i find out if it is broken or not. At this point honestly i do not know if it is. And yes, same thing here. Alot of people on public connected contracts do didly squat and just do nothing. Sorry you do not understand this Kassandra, but that is how it is in this game, and im sure other online games have lazy people like this in them.

NOTE: I changed my earlier post from it is not broken to i don't know to reflect this...

ONE other thing. Sometimes certain achievo's in steam are off a number. Try to get another connected contract and see if it pops up for you. I noticed this in another game.

Either your doing private or your very very lucky as it seems to me everyone on public joins it and does nothing. I noticed this doing it once..

@RPG Gamer Man I'm into the 50's at this point for my online contracts completed, which is why this is so infuriating for me. I finished the game in about 30 hours (and by that, I mean I had all the achievements I have now after 30 hours of play*), and I've spent my last 43 hours of play JUST trying to get this achievement, it's so stupid that they won't just fix it [or remove it entirely, I couldn't care either way at this point in time].

Really only made this thread out of desperation, seems p obvious the devs don't care about this game anyway, but I hoped it might get noticed by someone who could do something, lol.

Im still going to try for it. Today i did 2 connected contracts that actually got finished..mainly because the one i did i ran around opening chests everywhere...

So many hours of BS later, having completed two more contracts almost single handed [thank god for drop pods and infinitely-spawning enemies] I finally got the achievement.

I don't know how many online contracts I'd completed by the end, but it's over now. It's, finally, over.
