Why do you want to know if the game will have DRM :Miller:

I know of people who don't like denuvo, but it's never been a problem for me. I have a few games that use denuvo, and they run just fine.

Well it's simple, I'm against Denuvo. I don't want to pay a dime to Denuvo.
I don't have a game with Denuvo protection and I will not.

I also hate DENUVO. I already did the pre-order and I will not go back. And even if no interest I'll say why I hate DENUVO, he will not let me play offline. It forces me to be on the internet to validate the game I paid for. Example: Just Cause 3, Far Cry Primal, Batman Arkham Knight and others 2. Every time I wanted to play I had to connect to the internet for him to do the check. If I restart the PC I have to connect again. I must be unlucky, but I've seen other people with the same problem. All the software on my PC is original. I opened support and was told there was nothing to do. There are a lot of games that I stopped buying because of that damn DRM, if the companies promised that they would patch up after the release window I would buy it right away.

I'm attempting to get a definitive answer on this from Deep Silver, and will update the thread once I have info to share.

I received confirmation that Agents of Mayhem will use Denuvo. The store page should be updated soon with this info.

is it bad? I wounder, why someone non-related to publishers would defend such dragonian DRM, unless they have Stockholm syndrome

Should answer questions more than that google screenshot (that is quite outdated).

I wonder why Deep Silver would make such a strange decision.

I own most of their games on GOG though, even the ones I bought here I had the chance to buy again there, so I kinda suspect they'll be temporary with the idiocy.

I don't mind if they use it on first run sales, despite being one of the people who has had repeated problems with Denuvo locking me out over several different games.

I'm not buying it until it's gone, it'll sit on the bottom of my wishlist until it joins Doom and Homefront: The Revolution in the patched out the digital cancer club, but I'm not upset until they're offering an inferior version to a pirated copy for sale while pretending Denuvo is anything more than a waste of their money (They've been lasting what, a week? Prey and Mass Effect: Andromeda show how effective Denuvo has become lately, Resident Evil 7 wasn't an isolated occurrence, it's not the long life it had with Rise of the Tomb Raider anymore) and a risk to customers for authentication errors.

It's when they pull a Square Enix, or Bandai Namco, or WB Games, and leave it in there months or even a year after the game has been cracked that I have a problem with it.
