Peer to peer, reaction time
How is the peer to peer on the beta? Does it effect reaction time? I have a feeling you'll need to be quite quick on the reaction department for this.

Havn't had an issue on my end but I have yet to see any laggers either. I've heard some reports of it, but have yet to see it myself.

Ok, im almost canceling my preorder, and i bought the gold edition.
There is sometimes where you KNOW you blocked or did something faster, then you go back a half second and the guy hits you. This p2p thing is really getting on my nerves. I played like 15 hours on closed beta and 20 hours on open beta, im getting kinda tired of this p2p. Its not fun when you die and you can feel you have lost because of the peer-to-peer.

Now i just went against a guy doing 2 things at the same time, peer-to-peer can suck my d***

You mean feinting?

No, i mean he was either lagging, exploiting or cheating, he was attacking twice, light and heavy, at the same time

Never had a problem with it. Seems fine to me.

Sounds like feinting.

well I only have ~8 hrs in, but I can't see any blocking/parrying queues in pvp.

Sometimes I have no issues, sometimes people are teleporting, I just play paranoidic enough to not get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by those connection issues.

The thing that pisses me off more than anything is the errors I get when trying to enter a game, and getting kicked out a second before winning the game.

The only thing that is bad in p2p is that manny times it takes long to connect to a match, and ocasional rage quitters(quite a few if u drop them from leadges...lol)

It's fine for me. In the most recent beta I've only ran into one player whose connection gave me trouble which had to be some lagswitching with how absurd it was.

The game's P2P is some kind of weird autocorrect hybrid. It definitely works well but it's not flawless.

i would admire dedicated servers but it feels fine to me.

If you a die hard esport competitive hardcore gamer, it can piss you off but overall the netcode is solid. Most problems come from the matchmaking server.
Over 20h of playing this game i got 2 bug cause of the p2p, one laggy teleport guy on the first day. One time the game didn't launch and i had to restart my game, but ubiusoft have say on this bug it's a problem with "zombie" session. I also some time when the host change, the other guy can fight before me and then i get some free hit cause of the host changing.

p2p problems is then less than 10% of my game. If you compare this to cs:go server (dedicated) where lag problem, retebox is almost 90% of your game, i'll go for p2p lol.

It hasn't made the game unplayable for me yet. It can be frustrating sometimes though. Connection refreshing and saving game state messages if people drop in or out and some pretty long load times especially in dominion and elimination. Also uplay integration is pretty poor. The groups function is pretty buggy and sometimes it kicks your friends from the group or leaves them behind when you enter matchmaking. Hopefully they'll resolve this, but honestly it's something that shouldn't be an issue in the first place.

the game is always online and they can't even use servers....
