For anyone complaining with the P2P option
It will be just like Fifa, theres an option you can choose on matchmaking screen (it was disabled on closed beta but it was there, in grey) between matchmaking with people not far from you (probably on your country and if takes longer then the continent) and to look worldwide. It works just fine with Fifa, i mean, the only mode that has a server is the Pro Clubs.
So please, stop whining, theres alot of games these days with P2P connection. Fifa, Dead by Daylight, Stellaris, FM, Dying Light and most games on consoles use p2p connection.
If they make it right it wont be a problem.

Sigh.

This game doesn't use P2P that you are thinking of.

Lets use Dying light as an example.

Dying Light has a host.

The host is whats called a Listen Server. A listen server mechanical and technically is almost identical to a dedicated server except the host plays in the listen server directly vs connecting to the dedicated server. Hosts actions in a listen server happen instantly.

This is not techincally P2P. P2P is somthing differnt however the above system is still called p2p.

For Honor uses a real P2P system where all users send play data to all other users directly rather than through the host. The whole game is run on a "Simulation" that is shared and updated by all users. It still has a host, however that host does not have host advantage.

Long story short. For Honor is not techincally a p2p game as most people think of p2p games (which would be say Call of Duty) but has more in common with real p2p games such as say starcraft.

Oh, so it is a proper p2p system, where there is no host? Thank f*cking god! You got me worried there for a second.
My only concern is p2p games are more easily exploitable and scriptable.

The game is using EAC, there is no hack that can survive EAC for a long period of time. Dont worry about scripts or hacks
