DOWNLOAD TIME

Hii guys.. i have pre ordered the gold version of the game and was just curious how long does it take to download games from steam servers. This is my first ever purchase from steam. M tryin to download the open beta of for honor and the download speed sucks.. its showing 2 days for completion and from what i hav heard the full game is twice the size of the beta. Do we get any special speed for downloading the game we bought or will it be the same speed??

20gb at 4mpbs i dowloaded in 1.5h i think.

depends on your download speed, I had it really fast going 35MB/s... I believe there is no limit, but connection speed you pay for to your internet service provider

Reminds me of my 56k lol. 20mb was taking 30 min to download. XD sorry i cant help you more. Don't you have a friend living close to you that bought game and have high internet? He could give you files on usb key

Well whats the internet speed you are paying for? Steam should easily download at close to the fastest speed you can download.

my internet speed is 2 mbps. and no none of my friends are playing these game..

I remember a few month ago i downloaded DOTA 2 from steam and it gave me 2-3 mbps speed

at 5.7~6.2 mbps, took me like an hour or so (56-105 min)
The Steam servers are actually very good for my download region, Uplay to (it goes around 5.5 to 6.0)

Well luckily I played the close beta so I only had to update my beta version (around 450mb if anyone interested). So I hope I can "upgrade" to the full version either. I guess it will be around 30gb (beta was around 20gb)
