There is a 2021 game on Steam called "Calculate It!"...
...and the UI is (of course), essentially the same. Just making sure the devs are aware of this.

I know about it. At the stage when I was coming up with the game and the name, I didn’t think to look on Steam to see if there was something similar there. Then it was already too late.

No

These things happen. But it might be a good idea to change the name of the game. I have seen this happen before, with a game that is (now) called Battlevoid Harbinger -- it was released under a different name but the developers changed it due to similar circumstances.
Предлагаю название "Calculate all numbers" или "Calc Roguelike", такого ещё точно не было.

That was not my intention. Like I said, this sort of thing occasionally happens.

? That's how calculator works and looks like irl.
This game is about managing limited buttons across randomly generated target numbers, while that game is about using specific button combinations to solve fixed and premade puzzles. Wildly different.

Between Genius Calculator, Calculator: The Game (plus a sequel not on Steam), and the aforementioned other Calculate It, and probably more games, it seems like there is a bit of a subgenre of calculator puzzle games.

it's literally called calculate it and has the exact same mechanics. it's a blatant ripoff.

Those two "Calculate It" games look quite different, as the 2024 one (this one) is a roguelike , while the 2021 is a puzzle game with given keys.

Also, most calculator games will have UI that looks like calculator's.

Have a great week everyone.

Missed that reply, but exactly that.

Don't try to argue with him. He's just stirring up controversy. You can't convince him otherwise.
