My pc settings are w11 with intel n100.
Every time I save the game the game crashes and closes after saving saying this message, I already made the repair on steam and it didn't stop the problem.

Lanuching the game immediately fails with:
The j_rom directory isn't present, but e_rom is. Maybe a language issue? The language is set to English in general properties.
I verified the integrity, reinstalled, etc. I reinstalled the OS/drivers/etc.
sorry if this isnt the best thread to ask on.

The game just outputs a black screen. When attempting to run the game, the Steam pop up shows up and the usual blackscreen starts, however it never leaves that state, not even the logo shows up, also I don't hear any sound. I tried the usual; restarting computer, verifying integrity of gamefiles... but the issue persisted.
I'm fairly sure it is a GPU driver issue since the problem only began after updating to the latest Nvidia driver, 572.47, and downgrading to the previous one, 572.42, seems to fix the problem completely.
How to reperoduce: attempt to boot up the game using Nvidia game-ready driver 572.47.

SteamDeck Resident Evil HD Remaster How to fix the bug (color bar) in the opening movie.
You probably see the same error in Wesker's report in the "Gallery".
Please select the RE HD properties and change the compatibility to GE-Proton9-7.
*Google yourself how to download GE-Proton as it is easy.
As for the cause of the color bar, the problem is due to the fact that the movies included in RE HD use .wmv files, and the proton used by default does not include a wmv player.
If you start with a compatible GE-Proton that includes a wmv player, it will work fine.
I am writing this because some reviewers have complained of the same problem.
I changed the resolution and fps yesterday, then played the game. It ran normally. Today while playing i plugged the charger to my laptop and then it gave me the same error. How do i fix it ?
