White border around the screen
Anyone have this issue or is it part of the game? I have this white border around my screen and it gives the impression that its running in windowed mode even though it isnt. It's quite annoying to see that border. hope someone can help out.

Glad this fix is working...it seems to have to do with Desktop Window Manager in Windows 8.

"In such cases, when the app quits, Windows detects that the app or game has a problem with full screen mode, and applies the DXMAXIMIZEDWINDOWEDMODE compatibility mode that allows the app or game to run in a maximized windowed mode instead of a full screen mode"

Ah thanks for the insight! Games these days eh...

deleting the registry key is to fix the white border problem.

The entry may not be in your version of Windows. As far as a black border, have you tried this? http://steamcommunity.com/app/304240/discussions/0/622955136051566118/

it is not a file but a registry entry.... navigate to the entry this way:

Start > Run, then type

regedit

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Direct3D\Shims\MaximizedWindowedMode"

delete bhd.exe
