Camera Angle RE: Remake
Can you change the camera angle to where it just follows your character and not change all the time in this version?

You mean like in code veronica?

Code Veronica did a very good job on camera without lose the series identity. But, no Avenger, this can't be done on Remake; if my memory do not tricks me, Code Veronica have 3D scenarios.

This is part of what made RE unique and actually somewhat scary, inprecise controls and fixed camera angles so you can't see where ♥♥♥♥ is going to come out at you.

Take that away and you have another generic 3rd person game.

And Code Veronica's angles were still fixed for the most part even though it moved slightly if needed

I don't see why everyone says the controls aren't precise, they're super precise.

On Gamecube i never hate the camera so much then know. Everytime i run away from a crimson head next second i run in his damn crawls -.- i hope it get better with the hunters but the modern movement is not really better then the old one with Gamecube and Controller :( but k thx to the very easy mode and many heals its okay but the only nightmare i get is to fight Tyrant with the Knife 2 mins with THAT CAMERA XD

If you noobs don't like it don't play the game simple as that. This is pure survival horror at it's best and those "fixed camera angles" do play a role in that. Go play CoD.

Why would you even want that? It's 0% scary when you can always see what's coming.
You can't always see what's coming with a behind the back camera. Plenty of scary games use a behind the back or first person camera. Silent Hill games mainly use a normal third person camera and they're far more scary than Resident Evil.

Someone asks a simple question and then a bunch of people start circle jerking. Yes yes, we all know you think you're very special for playing a game with fixed camera angles. OP didn't even give his opinion on it and some of you are acting like someone insulted your child. You're jumping to the defense of something that was never attacked.

And now I need this disclaimer because some of you will invariably assume I hate the classic RE games. I don't. In fact, I've probably played more classic RE than most people on this board. I just don't care for this whole "fixed camera angles are the most glorious thing to ever exist! You're stupid if you don't like them.Go back to your call of duty!" BS. Seriously, some of the responses in here are embarrassing.

I love the old RE series but sometimes I see some elitism going on here.
Sometimes? More like all the time.

I die a little bit every single time I see "don't like it, don't play it" used in response to criticism. Stop parroting this nonsense!

I was born in 1994 fool, old enough to play RE on PS1
Well, that's certainly a strange argument. By the time you were old enough to play Resident Evil 1 properly, the original Xbox was already out. Hell, if we take into account the game's Mature rating, you would have been playing it nearly three console generations later.
I was 9 years old when I first played Resident Evil 2 (it was my first RE game). Believe it or not, it's possible for kids to play mature rated games.

Haha, this topic. Successful baiting, OP didn't even come back to reply.
