It does exist, but it's rare.

On Amazon.co.uk, I have seen a version of Resident Evil 1 for the PC, listed as a collectable, for £50.

It's actually a pretty good port (or at least it was during my Windows 98 days) with a couple of PC exclusive weapons like the Ingram and Minimi.

The port is good but there should be a frame limiting software on.
As far as I remember there is no framerate limit on the game and high framerates cause bugs during cutscenes.

I was hoping to find it new and in unused condition.

Impossible. Unless you're willing to spend a fortune on it.

I am begining to see that :/ I just want it for my collection.
Dfactor Jan 11, 2015 @ 8:58am
It's a title that was released 19 years ago. How could you possibly find it in "new" condition? :rrazz:
One of the reasons why I stopped collecting retail copies altogether and just went with digital.

You would be suprised they are out there but like someone said i am not going to pay a fortune for it lol.

I imagine you'd have to hunt for a while, and probably spend a few hundred bucks to get it. There's one copy of 2 and one copy of 3 on Ebay, and they're $100 and $200. : \

yes ! on ebay ! But... build a Vintage PC !! You can do it cheaply if you know how to build one. I even got the PowerVR version of RE from Ebay and that version is unplayable without a PowerVR card, check it

I would only recommend the US PC version as the UK one is cut ! The german version is also uncut but it has german subtitles, and the PowerVR version, you can get the japanese version over Playasia but forget about the UK version I payed a lot for it and was waiting like 3 years till it showed up on Ebay and you will absolutely need a PowerVR card like the MatroxM3D or Apocalypse 3D and a Vintage PC and Win98 and PC knowlegde and whatnot xD

get the US PC version, that one is the most accesible PC version.

and here is a complete Jill gameplay of that version !
