In game clock
Anyone know if the in game clock continues when the game is paused? Trying to get under 3 hours but I'm always having to leave my PC at a moments notice.

There is no way to pause the in-game timer. It runs regardless whether you pause or manage your inventory.

Eyup. Everything counts. The only way you can "stop it" is to save and quit. :inkribbon:
I did the mistake of leaving the game in the option menu and alt tabbing a lot. First run ended up being 8 hours because of that.

Sorry guys I beg to differ, I spent alot of my first playthrough AFK with the game paused, by the time i'd finished Steam had tracked 23 ingame hours, but the game showed my completion time as just under 9.

This leads me to believe that the clock does stop when the game is paused.

the game is easily completed in 2 hours....i dont see how ANYONE is having difficulty with this unless younger people today are just crap at playing games

this game is old school and shows you have to think about your actions....yet loads of people making threads saying game is too hard....even on normal.......and saying how they need to restart which i just dont understand at all

its easy, dont give a crap about the data disks - let chris/jill die, dont even bother looking for them in the cell or the picking up the disk

headshot stuff and when it falls down knife it. knife doesnt do much damage but it saves you SOME ammo

run ALL the time

dont ever waste time with dogs, just run past them, same with spiders unless there super close then use magnum/GL/SG

girl who follows you that wears her dead mothers skin, dont bother shooting her, just wait till she is at the grave area and remove the chains so she jumps off the ledge saving you time/ammo etc

dont bother touching the sharks, once there on the ground when the water is gone just dont bother with them

the point is if you going for the quickest time you can then you cant care about the ending you get which is gona be the bad ending because your rushing

With your weapon unequipped, especially as Chris. He's much quicker with empty hands. Shoot even as Jill but naturally Chris is faster.
