Right. So he suggested he played a different version of the game. Not the HD remaster, as I said. And just to clarify, I was responding to 2 comments which have been deleted which outright accused the OP of pirating the game, I was merely pointing out that it wasn't necessarily the case.

If you check out a website called 'Cheat Engine' and download a program, there is a set of cheats for this game that include the ability to save without the need for ink ribbons.
