Mod: no gun reload inside inventory menu
Hi,

it might sound ridiculous, or just detail, but I never liked to be able to reload inside the inventory menu, I think it is cheap (combine gun + ammo).
I know I can force myself not to do it, but it is always better when the game prevent you from doing it.
So I wish a mod could do that, making gun and ammo combine impossible in the inventory (except for grenade launcher I presume, because you have to choose you type of grenades manually in the menu).

Thx for any modder willing to do that

you can reload your gun on the go if you have ammuntion left in your inventory, check out the controls I think it might be the R key on the keyboard, on the gamepad its usually the Run key while aiming.

I remember in the Nintendo DS release called deadly Silence you could even equip the knife by pressing the left bumper on the DS too bad its not possible in this :(

I know I can reload manually, that is what I am doing.
I just want to fix something I consider broken, for the sake of balance.

Nobody is forcing you to do it. Don't try to take away a function that other might like.

It's not taking away a function. It's asking for a personal mod.

I would like an in-game reload combination too if any modder is reading this (Aim + Run = Reload).

This will make the experience even HARDER and more realistic than freezing world's time to reload your gun. You can still reload it in the inventory if you want, nobody will be forcing anybody to download the mod or use whatever function you prefer.

Do it modders please !

Learn to have some self-control. Simple. No need for such a pointless mod.

What does making your experience more challenging has anything to do about learning self-control?

Yea I expected answers like that.
I have self-control, I am doing the manual reload...but I always know the menu reload exists, and I don't like that, I am just being perfectionnist, and slight details like that annoy me.
It should never have existed in the first place, this option should have vanished.

Are you seriously asking that question? Why use a mod to do something that you can just do on your own by you know....NOT DOING IT?

To make your experience more challenging? Simply reloading your weapon in-game rather than saying "Hey freeze everyone! Ima reloading my weapon ok?"

Again it's a personal mod. Nobody is forcing you to download.

It only exists because Capcom never thought to give the players the option to reload with the press of a button in the original version. It's just a left over relic of the past that gives the player more options.

Personally, I prefer reloading with the press of the button myself cause it just looks cool and more realistic so I just do it whenever I can.

Ok I did not know the real reason behind this.
But still, I'd like such a mod.
Not a top priority, that's for sure...

So I'm guessing people that do knife-runs only challenges need a mod that disables all weapons from being used in order to make it "more challenging?"

Once again: Self-control.

Your "more challenging" argument doesn't make much sense to me when you really think about it. However, I will concede that more mods is never a bad thing, even if it is pointless.

Me too, that's the point. A mod that allows you to reload your weapon in-game by the Aim + Run combination. You could still freeze time and reload the weapon in the inventory if you want to remember the old times. I would probably end up still using the inventory reload many times.

Why not? Again, that's one of the main reasons i game on PC. You can play your favorite game by modding it in 10 different ways each one being a complete different experience (mainly i do it for more challenge). I'm not asking anyone to be forced to download the mods i'm using.

Wait, wait...I'm confused. You do know that option already exist in the game by default, right? You do know that you can already reload in-game without having to go into inventory screen at all?
