Shooting really sucks in this game.
OH boi do I now only remember why I never played RE 1 - 3 cause you can't tell if you're hitting anything if it's off screen and you can ether be firing bullets too low, too high or no where near them and when they're right in front of me I some how still manage to miss.

Only shoot when they're on screen or you're sure you're aiming at them. Besides, you're probably playing on normal so you'll have auto aim to do the work for you.

It's auto-aim dude.. If you're not hitting them, let go of the L trigger (or whatever your aim button is) and press it in again, and it will lock onto an enemy in the room, even if they're off screen.

How you're missing enemies with auto-aim on is beyond me. Sounds like mad cuz bad.

I think (s)he is just mad coz can't no-scope head shot everything every shot :P

There is auto aim, so it is easy to lock on. You can either let go of the trigger and pull it again to realign or press the leftbumper/L1 or the equivilent to select new targets. You rarely even need to aim up or down either, maybe just for dogs or other small enemies.

It's got auto aim plus an auto adjust now. Unless your playing Real Survival where it's turned off you should not be missing. Sometimes you need to aim up or down but that's rare.

the shooting is fine, I know what you mean thou but its part of the game, you should see the shooting in silent hill 1-3...

Yes auto aim, but your character does not correct his aim when the target moves.
You have to frequenlty re align yourself by pressing on the change target button, or release aim button and re hold it again (but it is longer)

the Samurai Edge does pop some heads from time to time but its very random, sometimes it takes only one bullet for a decap sometimes the zombie must be hurt pretty badly but I never figured the exact pattern when it happens I just think it has a certain % chance. The shotty always decaps upclose thats or sure :D Also in the original RE1 there was no Samurai Edge but there was in the DC.
