FATAL ERROR: failed to open file.... common.arc 3
Anytime I try to run the game, it immediately crashes and a box appears:

Fatal error.
Failed to open file.... \Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil Biohazard HD REMASTER\nativePC\arcPC\id\j_rom\common.arc 3

I have verified the files multiple times and each time it has claimed to be successful. I have even reinstalled it twice and again verified the files multiple times, but it still comes up with the same issue everytime I run it. Please let me know if there is a fix to this issue.

Same with me. Tried vsync off in conf file, still nothing. Windows 10, AMD Phenom X6 1045T 2.7G,8g ram. any help would be appreciated. Really want to play this game. Nvida 550TI

Also verified game files twice, un-installed game files and re-installed to no avail.

In my case its the file "root.arc 5".

The message:

Fatal error. Failed open file. SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Resident Evil Biohazard HD REMASTER\nativePC\sa\DX9\root.arc 5.

It started to appear a few weeks ago, after I beated the game for the first time.

I already verified game files, un-installed game files and re-installed the game. Nothing solves it.

Can anyone help?
