Linux - playing with wine

Version of wine: 1.7.38 (did not test another version)

First install a few programs with winetricks:
winetricks wmp10 d3dcompiler_43 d3dx9 xact_jun2010

Then google for WindowsMedia-KB942423-x86-INTL.exe and install it:
wine WindowsMedia-KB942423-x86-INTL.exe

Now start and enjoy the game!


My gamepad (Logitech F710) is also not working properly, but keyboard/mice works fine

I downloaded the file and it's in downloads folder, but when I type in terminal "wine WindowsMedia-KB942423-x86-INTL.exe" it says:

fixme:service:scmdatabase_autostart_services Auto-start service L"UMWdf" failed to start: 2
wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\windowsmedia-kb942423-x86-intl.exe"

So I put the file in the system32 folder under wine and it changes nothing.
