Can't get into just this one room...

In one of the files, Trevor says that theres a hidden room behind the mansion picture in the back of the art room. I can see the room on my map in the east wing on the mansion 1F.... but I can't get into it. I look at the picture and it just says that it's a picture of the mansion.

Clearly I've missed something.... although I finished the game with the best ending. :/
Not sure what I'm missing with that room. How do you get into it?

You know that hallway with the mirrors, 2 zombies, 1 crimson head lying down, and the angle statue with the arrow? Take the door in front of the crimson head. Which will lead to that upstairs hallway with the boobytrapped key and the knight statue on rails which cuts you up with a spinning disc of knives.

After you solve that puzzle, continue down that hallway and it'll lead to a door you've never been through and probably missed. In there is the hallway with the closing walls and statue puzzle. THAT is the room you're talking about I think.

May be you refer to Closet Room? which only avaliable after you got Closet Key for that character after beat the game once. Before you beat the game, the room will not show the red door on the map and cannot access. Hope this help

Yep, that's the one. I thought I missed a room when I finished the game :)

i find the room pointless as by the time i got the key after finishing the game on hard, I already had the clothes that are found inside
