How to Get Best Ending for Chris

So i just beat the game with Jill for a second time doing a sub 3 hour speed run and now it's time for me to play the game as Chris. I don't want to follow a walkthrough because I want to take my time and be surprised my first time playing as Chris but I still want to try and get the best ending for him. What things must I remember to do to get the best ending. I'm assuming freeing Jill in the cell is one of them. What about Rebecca or anyone else?

Gotta save Rebecca for sure.

You'll hear Rebecca scream after you enter the room which is unlocked by the Emblem Key. She'll be upstairs in the room where you found the Dog Whistle; hurry up and save her or a Hunter will open up her neck and there'll be no best ending for you.
