If it's not on Steam then it's not even worth buying.

Well, with the NON-DRM, it still worth a buying. Therefore, I bought it right away!

I don't mind it being on GOG at all. I'm just going to take a wait and see approach, not convinced if it's just going to be the three games without any improvements. It might be the most accessible version but not necessarily the best way to experience these games, considering the visual upgrades and a few other QoL offered by Classic Rebirth, Seamless HD, and other community enhancements.

yeah steam games get taken down all the time, forever. GOG is under rated, I get why you you wouldn't want to buy a game on epic but GOG is legit.

Here comes the Steam only fanboys complaining instead of being happy about it. I'm happy about this. It doesn't matter for me if it's on Steam or GOG. Steam needs a healthy competition anyway.

I'm not a huge fan of multiple store fronts and I'll always prioritise buying games on Steam for the features and functionality given the choice. However, I will appreciate GOG for their work on sourcing and preserving older titles and if something is an exclusive then I'll happily buy it through them for their efforts. I very much doubt we would've ever seen this trilogy made accessible for PC again had it not been for GOG.

Now they just need to bring Dino Crisis 1 and 2 to GOG. I made a GOG account last year cause I wanted to play Mortal Kombat Trilogy and some other games that are not on Steam. There are even some additional DirectX options for some old games where you have additional settings that originally didn't had these features like AA and stuff. It's also shown in the video. The Mortal Kombat games and Silent Hill 4 also benefited from this for example. We had to wait for a long time for this but it finally happened.
