ok.. now what? (stuck and losing patience with door animations)

this is my first time playing resident evil and it's a lot more puzzle and a lot less zombies than expected. i'm playing as jill, if that information matters.

last thing i remember before getting stuck was fighting the snake i think. where i got the second shotgun

i have 3/4 masks, with the last missing most features i believe (eyes, nose and mouth)
interactables in my possession are a wind crest and a jewelry box

all rooms are marked to be clear of items except the basement (with the missing fourth mask) and the lion room. where i need his second eye. the one i already inserted is on the right (his left). i don't remember the color. maybe blue?

the doors i cannot open right now are marked with a helmet and one says something about a family crest or guilt i think and the twin octagon one for the tunnel

i've no clue where to go from here. the box says something along the lines of the sun being a key but it's midnight by the looks of it so not sure how i can be of help with that. i don't remember other sun imagry?

the wind crest i have no idea for

guides aren't helping because bad memory of what i did and didn't do already and they keep assuming i have items i do not

i'm leaving this up in case this could be useful to someone else but examining the box more thoroughly helped a lot. guess i'm just blind

of the doors bother you that much. try this. download the .zip and drop the files where it says in the guide. it removes the animations (which are 7sec every time) so you get a quick fade in and out between rooms.
