Only game exe have been modified with some small changes and additions (size increase 77kb). In changes/addition I see a lot of asian characters, have no clue what and for what is changed.

Maybe they fixed cutscenes (few video ones) not showing up properly on Steam Deck, will have to check it out later.

I am convinced Capcom only updates their games to screw with modders.

Its not this game exclusive, so no they didnt fix patch anything. Capcom has been doing this to all of their games from Ace Attorney, to Megaman, to Resident Evil.

Its just Steam drm being added. But it also breaks all mods.

It's listed as 'Verified' now on the Steam page, at least, but not sure if that's new or not.

Recently older Capcom titles have gotten these small updates, SF30th Anniversary Collection, Street Fighter V, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to mention a few. Unsure what it is about but whatever it is it seems like they are going through all their games one by one.

Say what, again? Was this confirmed already? Because I have, like, nearly 30 mods and add-ons currently installed, but I haven't played the game for a while, and now you're saying it's all ogre? Bizarrely enough, REmake's .exe doesn't show/mention/list game's current version for some reason, while 0 HD's does just fine. It's just a blank/empty space in .exe's properties.

I can't speak for all mods, but it didn't interfere with the music fix mod.
