The RE HD remaster is very faithful and adds to the original but in stunning graphics even almost 20 years after the 2002 gamecube release, and RE2 remake was definitely impressive, and since we're due a RE4 remake on the horizon, that can be expected to appear on the steam store when it is released. Let's just hope it's a better remake than RE3 was.
I would also prefer them to be 4:3 res for accuracy to the originals.
This would be a dream. Steam has the original Tomb Raider games and I know it might not be the same but why can't they have the original Resident Evil games? Maybe it's Capcom? I know there was a PC port of the original Resident Evil with its own exclusive costumes you could unlock. Were there PC ports of the other PS1 games?
Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3 were all ported to PC.
if you still have a CD Player on your computer, you can go to some selling sites (CDiscount, E-Bay, etc) to find old REs CDs
By this way, I have all the 3 (RE1, 2 & 3) old fashion games.
"Were there PC ports of the other PS1 games?"
Yes, there are ports on PC of Resident Evil 1 but also 2, 3.
For Code Veronica, I don't think.
That last one, I have it on Console & on PC by Emulation.
