Does that actually work for this game? As far as I know you only get the japanese dub if you actually buy a japanese region version of the game. You can turn on japanese texts in all versions but that's about it. (The japanese texts actually use a font similiar to the original one used on Gamecube, even for all the english texts like in menus and stuff. No idea why they used such an ugly font in all other languages.)
That being said, playing this game with japanese VA is really unnecessary, because not only was the japanese dub recorded over 10 years after the original release (i.e. english is the original dub.) it's not even based on the original japanese script but instead they re-translated the localized english script back into japanese and used that for the japanese dub. (So the japanese subtitles, which *are* the original script, and the japanese voice acting are pretty different.)
