Stuck at the beginning with Chris

Hello everyone,

Iv played for a bit less than two hour and after going everywhere possible thrice already, i think i might be stuck because of a mistake in the game they didint think of ?

My inventory is full : Knife, Ink Ribbon, Pistol, Pistol Clip, Blue diamond and Shotgun shell. Now to me it seem pretty obvious that i must probably take that arrow head and go outside to use it in the graveyard but the thing is, i dont have any space left for it and i dont have anything to burn, beside my 14 pistol ammunition (which i dont want to waste).

Now i suppose im not the first one that has end up in a situation like this and i cant believe that the answer to my predicament would be to actually burn through my ammunition ? Surely there something im missing right ? RIGHT ?

Yes, you are not the first one who fills the inventory at the very beginning, and you have not yet reached the box. Use ink ribbon or start the game over, but do not pick up diamond, shotgun cartridges or ink ribbon. Do this when you get to the save room.

Awww man really ? I know this is an old game but it seem like it would of needed more though on their end. Thank for the answer, il start again.

I myself do not understand why they did not do it so that it was possible to throw out a non-plot item. However, any item can be dropped in RE0.

you cannot get stuck. and you arent. just use up the pistol clip. done. now you can loot the arrowhead. or use up the 3 saves. it barely matters. you can also restart and get back to the arrowhead in like 5 minutes once you know where to go.

wait, can you not reach any of the boxes prior to doing the arrowhead thing for a key or whatever? i don't remember the beginning of my playthrough, just curious

no you cannot. all doors that lead to a box are sword key locked.

it might seem annoying that you can get "stuck" like this early on and would have to waste ressources, but for what it's worth, you've made, like, 5 minutes of progress so far, if at all, if you just restart and skip all the opening cutscenes.

Use the three ink ribbons (you'll find more later) or just restart and ignore the statue/blue gem, since it's such a non-issue because getting to the arrow head is actually just a few minutes of actual progress once you know what to do. You may sometimes have to redo way more progress than that in this and many other games for dying and not having a nearby checkpoint or save point.

This. 3 save ribbons are expendable at the start, as you will find more near every other save point.

Edit: Just noticed that this thread is a few days old and you have almost started again and already overtaken your previous progress.
