Game running slow and audio desync and lagging during cutscenes
As the title implies, I have problems with running the game smoothly; it runs slow and feels like the character is waist deep in syrup, the audio during the cutscenes desyncs and whats happening in the cutscene itself runs in slow motion.

I have downloaded the REHD Resolution Lag Patch V2, have set the game to 30fps, turned the anti aliasing off, turned the vertical sync off, set the resolution to 1280 X 960, etc, etc, but no change so far.

My specs are;

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU
@2.40GHz 2.40GHz
RAM of 6GB

Any help would be apreciated

I had the problem and I increased my memory beyond 8GB and it resolved the issue, try increasing the memory but that might not possible in the current crises. Try updating your display drivers, update to the latest version of Windows 10. I don't know

there seems to be problem with the PC port which Capcom hasn't fixed in YEARS, it seems to want memory then it needs. maybe REmake really hates old tech? maybe a problem with DDR3.

Do you play this game in full screen or windowed? I prefer windowed since I experienced fewer issues this way.

I've tried both yet it still runs slowly

That's the problem, you need a display card bro, integrated display won't cut it, getting a display card would fix the problem. I'd recommend a MSI Radeon RX5700 or a Gigabyte GeForce RTX2060, both cards would allow to run the game at 4K at 120FPS :D

Judging by the Task Manager I also have a AMD Radeon (TM) R5 M330, so I dont know

Then try this, force the laptop to run the AMD card

https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-017

And lower graphics to low and 30FPS and try again.

So I've forced my laptop to run the AMD card on the game by the settings and set it to 30 fps and lowered the graphics, yet the cutscenes are out of sync. The running still feels slow in an irritating way (as if its almost ok but just slow motion enough to be noticable)

♥♥♥♥ I don't know, there is a bug with the game running slow that shouldn't happen if your specs were above the recommended. keep trying to diagnose the problem you might find a solution 👍

Update on the situation; the frame rate is acceptable (30 fps) and I suppouse the running is suppoused to feel floaty. Yet the problem with the cutscenes audio being out of sync persists. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, I have no ideas on how to fix this problem. I can tell you that the videos and audio of cutscenes are streamed separately in-game, despite videos being pre-rendered (a hunch I confirmed by locating video and audio files within of the game then playing them).

And when you're done with this^^^
Paste this on game directory

So the framerate is fixed, but the audio still desync a tiny bit during cutscenes (not as much as before). Thanks!

You mean the cutscene at the very beginning where they are searching for the chopper? That scene works ok (as far as I noticed), but its the ingame ones that are a tad bit out of sync (though not as much as before)
